Good morning, 

Practice starts tomorrow! You should have received an email with your swimmer(s) practice group. If you did not, you can see your child's practice group on the Swimtopia app or you can send an email to [email protected]. 

Morning practices are Crush/Marlin: 9:15-10:30 am and Dory/Nemo: 10:30-11:15 am. 

Evening practices are Dory/Nemo: 7:15-8:00 pm and 8:00-9:15 pm. 

Parents should stay in the concession area and not be on deck during practice. Younger siblings should not be in or near the pool during this time. Please be respectful of the Aquatic Center rules, as they are very generous to us each season. 

We practice in rain, but thunder & lightning will keep us out of the pool. We typically wait until the last minute to cancel practice, so we encourage families to make the decision that is best for them when deciding whether to attend or not. 

Raffle Tickets - I will be at both practices tomorrow to give out raffle tickets. Please try to pick them up this week. Only name & phone number needs to be written on the tickets. The $500 drawing will be June 20. 

Parent Meeting - The parent meeting is Thursday (May 28) evening at 7:15 in the "concession area" of the outdoor pool. We encourage new families to attend. 

Volunteer Jobs - I will open jobs on Friday, May 29 at 8:00 am. All important jobs for swim meets are posted and you can sign up for them through Swimtopia (website or app). Additionally, there are some jobs for picture day and the Awards / Family Fun Night. The Champs jobs are unknown at this time, but I have posted them as TBD. Champs jobs are worth double credit. If each family fulfills their volunteer obligation, only 2 credits are needed. Please start by only signing up for 2 credits. I have not counted officials in the total credits, as they typically volunteer at any meet they are able. At home meets, we will operate a concession stand and people can donate items for credit. At this point, it is more important to have the essential jobs covered, so concession donations will be posted the week of each home meet.

Apparel - https://www.chic-loco.com/collections/fighting-fish-1 Our apparel coordinator, Jessica Burke, will be doing a bulk pickup on orders placed by May 31 and they will be distributed at practice. You may also choose to have orders shipped to you. There is free shipping on orders over $75. All swimmers are receiving a free team t-shirt thanks to our sponsor, Angela Geoghegan of e-Merge Real Estate Excellence. All swimmers are also receiving one free team swim cap this year.
